Mia's Review: Dermagold Miracle C+ Serum [Sponsored]

Previously in my post on Hadara Sparkling Eye Therapy, I've briefly mentioned about this award-winning Dermagold star product Miracle C+ and here is my full review of this serum after 1 month of using it.

 Dermagold Miracle C+, 15ml: $69

Touted as Dermagold star product, Miracle C+ is a silky smooth, high performance concentrated 18% vitamin C Ester serum that is manufactured in the USA. It is a multi-functioning product with anti-oxidant, anti-aging, anti-pigmentation, anti-inflammatory and anti-wrinkle properties. Formulated in a base of hyaluronic acid to boost, protect and restore skin, this paraben free star product also helps to balance our oil secretions.

The packaging comes with a convenient pump dispenser and each time I use only about 1.5 pumps for my entire face.
This product can also be used on the neck and décolleté, but since I use a separate, rich anti-wrinkle cream on my neck, I decided to skip the serum.

The serum is extremely light, and spreads across my skin effortlessly with no feeling of stickiness or oiliness at all. Instead, it gives me a refreshing after-feeling as the watery serum gets absorbed into my skin, leaving it feeling hydrated and smooth to the touch.

And after 1 month of using this product, I find my skin more supple and at the same time, less oily. My skin oils up tremendously in a short time, especially in the day time as I work under the hot sun. However, after starting on Dermagold Miracle C+, I find that my skin stays relatively matte for at least half a day or more, with exception of my nose, which is still oilier than the rest of my face. My skin has also turn visibly brighter and I have, on multiple occasions, left my house for work in the morning with no traces of make up on except for a dab of undereye concealer.
So ladies, invest in skincare, not make up. You can't go wrong with that.

  1. I have oily skin so it's good to hear that this leaves your skin feeling not so oily after you've used it for a while. Sounds like a great serum too. Thanks for the informative review.

  2. I'm only using products advised and provided by doctors and dermatologist because of my sensitive skin. Quite envious of you guys! You can try out so many products without worrying about breakouts!

  3. Serums are really useful tools to keep the skin charged with the nutrition it needs. This one looks especially interesting! :D

  5. I have sensitive skin like Tiffany, my skin can only take 100% organic and all natural products even if it's for skincare or else hello break outs. I agree investing in skincare rather than make up is better, I just take the more natural route by keeping my skin healthy from within with a healthy lifestyle. :)

  6. I'm a huge fan of skin care products and ... wow, Dermagold seems to be a very promising product. Its multi-function make it appealing to me. It's awesome that it has antioxidants and anti-aging at the same + it's anti-pigmentation & anti-wrinkle.

  7. My main problem with serums is the sticky feeling you get when you apply it. I’m glad to know that this one is different. I hope to try it out.

  9. Lots of women's beauty products are readily available in the market. This serum adds to it which has positive effect. Trusting a skin product takes time.

  10. There are a lot of serum in the market and most of their characteristics that I hate most is it's sticky. It's good that there is finally a product that isn't as sticky as the ones being sold in the market. And I have to agree, women should invest in skin care products than makeup.

  11. So good that the result was good after a month of using. Asking your advice, what do you do if the sponsored product does not work well on you? Do you still go on to write a negative article? Or you just do not write at all?

  12. I have been using a pure vitamin c powder, mixed into my usual day and night cream. Looking for a replacement as i've been too lazy to do it properly. Tis looks like a possible choice!

  15. I like the fact that this product has watery consistency, spreads easily and gets absorbed rapidly. Good that you are happy with this product.

  16. I'm glad that there are so many quality skin care products now that are available to the market. And each product service different types of skin and solves different issues. Glad to know this one works for you and hopefully others with oily skin consider it too.

  17. I have an oily skin and it's annoying at times. At least, you found a product that would reduce the oiliness of the face.
